Zone is a concept for an organic line of hair and skincare products inspired by the Pelagic Zones of the ocean. Each product uses Seaweed as a key ingredient because it is rich in Omega-3 fiber, antioxidants, iodine, & other vitamins & minerals that an average diet sometimes lack. The natural oils found in seaweed & algae are extremely useful for protecting skin. Working on this concept required a lot of research about the ocean and the natural ingredients within it that could benefit one’s health. After coming up with the initial idea, Elizabeth researched different creatures that could be found in each zone of the ocean to decide which ones to include on the different bottles.
Little Lagoon is a concept for a line of children’s bath products. Bathtime is an important part of childhood! The aim of the Little Lagoon brand would be to make bathtime fun for kids and easy for parents to help establish healthy hygiene habits and fond memories that will last a lifetime. All the products are tear-free and don’t contain harsh fragrances or dyes. The logo was designed using light colors and an inviting island and a handful of fun creatures that appear on the various bottles. The color palette is bright and hits every color of the rainbow to represent all the colors included in the paint set.
Oh No is a concept for an alternate album cover for Ok Go’s Oh No. This album was a pivotal part of Elizabeth's early teenage years and shaped her taste in music. The original album cover was a photograph of paisley wallpaper so the background, hand-drawn paisley, was included as a nod to it. The album’s tone is fairly somber and all of the music videos have a vintage aesthetic to them which inspired the decision to use a rotary phone as the subject. The phone was created completely in Adobe Illustrator and was Elizabeth's first experience using the program to create a more finished piece opposed to using it for simple vector art like logos or for type layout.
